It can be very concerning when you have a nervous or anxious dog that struggles to relax…

Do you ever feel concerned and worried about your dog because they’re anxious, distressed and not able to live life normally? Does your dog struggle in new environments e.g. outdoor locations, in the home, greeting people, vehicles? Are you finding it difficult to earn your dog’s trust? Or maybe your dog has issues with sound sensitivity.

If you wish your dog could be more confident and relaxed, so that they (and you!) can live life normally, you’re in the right place!

The journey to changing behaviour and helping you and your dog feel happier starts here.

How I work

I use ethical, reward-based training to get to the root of your dog’s behaviour and create lasting change. Sessions are 1:1 and take place both in your home and out in the real world, such as on walks or at the park - wherever your dog most needs support.

My approach is calm, collaborative and rooted in empathy. I always consider both your dog’s and your emotional wellbeing, because learning only happens when everyone feels safe and supported.

We’ll work closely as a team to build your confidence, reduce stress and make progress that you can sustain long after our sessions end. I don’t just train dogs; I support the humans at the other end of the lead too, so that life gets better for both of you.

Let’s do this together!

“He’s now much calmer and happier”

Roxanne has been absolutely amazing with our Cockapoo, Ollie. She’s helped us and him to overcome his incredibly nervousness and reactivity around other dogs and people, and he’s now so much calmer and happier. Thanks to her guidance, Ollie’s sleep routine has improved too so he’s well-rested and content during the day, which has made such a positive difference overall. Roxanne has also been incredibly supportive to both my partner and me; we feel far more confident and knowledgeable as dog owners. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

“He has calmed down so much, we are really grateful”

Roxanne was really lovely and patient with Lenny our sausage dog. Lenny was so frightened and nervous of everything, impossible to walk and even worse if friends visited the house. Roxanne shared techniques to help us support Len and he has calmed down so much, we are really grateful for her support.

“Roxanne’s patience and understanding is perfect”

Roxanne has provided excellent support to my dog Daphne who is very nervous. Tailors training to your dog, the pacing for Daphne with her issues around touch and handling and nervousness has been spot on and Daphne is more relaxed and confident now. If you have a nervous dog Roxanne's patience and understanding is perfect.

“Roxanne’s advice has made a huge difference”

‘After one session where we focused on my main concern which was her anxiety, Roxanne gave us some wonderful training tips and tools to try. I’m happy to say we haven’t had a single pee or poop in the crate since 🤩.

This shouldn’t have been a quick fix by all means (and I’m not saying all dogs will be the same) but I can’t actually believe how fast a bit of hard work and effort has gone with the right tools from Roxanne. Can’t thank her enough…’
