I’m Roxanne and I’m here to help you!
If you’re here, chances are you love your dog deeply - they’re part of your family. But things aren’t easy right now.
Maybe you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or even guilty about your dog’s behaviour. You’ve tried different things, maybe even different trainers, but nothing seems to stick. You're emotionally exhausted, second-guessing yourself, and just want to do right by your dog. I see you. I understand. And you're not alone.
I help people just like you: thoughtful, compassionate dog guardians who want to feel in control without being controlling. People who don’t want harsh methods - they want kind, ethical guidance that works. My approach is all about positive reinforcement, evidence-based strategies, and emotional support for both of you.
Let’s do this together!
Qualified Dog Behaviourist and Trainer in Oldham, Greater Manchester & Rochdale
My Dog Training Background
I have many years’ experience of working with dogs and teaching owners how to get the best out of their relationship with their dog. I’m a firm believer that both dog and human need to live harmoniously and happily together in order to maximise the dog-human bond and connection, and a stress free life! This is where I can step in and help you achieve your goals, utilising my skillset and expertise to enable the change you wish to see.
My background is in rescue where I was a canine carer for shelter dogs at Dogs Trust Manchester which gave me ‘hands on’ practical experience with a range of different breeds, sizes and temperaments. I was then promoted to the Head Coach of Dog School teaching puppy and dog training classes, reactive dog classes and 121s. Rest assured you’re in safe hands.
My qualifications include:
BSc (Hons) degree in Canine Behaviour, Bishop Burton University Centre
Foundation degree in Canine Behaviour and Training, Bishop Burton University Centre
Full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDTUK)
Full member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT)
Animal Training Instructor (ATI) with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC)
*Associate Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC).
*Associate members have demonstrated that they have the appropriate level of Knowledge and Understanding for the professional role of Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB). They are now gaining the practical experience necessary to be assessed as a CAB and therefore become a Full member of the APBC. The APBC supports its Associate members undertaking behaviour consultations.
But what really drives me is helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
You deserve to enjoy your dog again, to understand their behaviour, and to feel like a team. That’s what I help you achieve. Together, we’ll gently build skills, trust, and clarity without judgement, pressure, or unrealistic expectations.
My work is about more than just training techniques. It’s about helping you rebuild confidence, reduce guilt, and reconnect with the dog you adore. Because change doesn’t have to feel hard. It just has to feel safe for both of you.

“Would highly recommend her to anyone”
Roxanne has been amazing to work with. Our dog is very sound-sensitive and reactive. Roxanne was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the process. She took the time to understand our dog’s triggers and gave us clear, practical techniques that actually worked.
Thanks to her guidance, our dog is noticeably calmer and we feel much more confident handling challenging situations. Roxanne truly cares about the dogs and the people she helps, and it shows in the results. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone.
