Reactive to Relaxed

I’m here to help change this and take away the stress.

Areas covered: Oldham, Saddleworth, Rochdale, Bury & all of Greater Manchester

It can be very frustrating when you have a reactive dog that appears aggressive to dogs and people…

Do you ever feel stressed and embarrassed when you walk your dog because they’re barking at other dogs, people, cars or bikes? Do you dread walking them because when your dog lunges you’re being pulled on the lead to the point that it’s starting to feel dangerous?  Maybe it feels as though you can no longer go on like this?

If you wish your dog could walk calmly and quietly, so that you can explore different environments safely and confidently together, you’re in the right place!

The journey to changing behaviour and helping you and your dog feel happier starts here.

How I work

I use ethical, reward-based training to get to the root of your dog’s behaviour and create lasting change. Sessions are 1:1 and take place both in your home and out in the real world, such as on walks or at the park - wherever your dog most needs support.

My approach is calm, collaborative and rooted in empathy. I always consider both your dog’s and your emotional wellbeing, because learning only happens when everyone feels safe and supported.

We’ll work closely as a team to build your confidence, reduce stress and make progress that you can sustain long after our sessions end. I don’t just train dogs; I support the humans at the other end of the lead too, so that life gets better for both of you.

Let’s do this together!

“I would’ve wished to have taken up the help of Roxanne much earlier”

If there’s any advice I would’ve wished to have taken up the help of Roxanne much earlier, she’s really helped us with practical tips and training to help her be much calmer with visitors so that she can self regulate herself. Her supporter knowledge has been amazing. Highly recommend her.

“Walks are now enjoyable! Nelly is much calmer and more confident”

Our daily walks used to be an absolute nightmare for all of us but after a few sessions and a lot of practice walks are now enjoyable! Nelly is much calmer and more confident when she sees another dog now and we feel more in control of any situations when they happen. We couldn't recommend Roxanne enough, she is extremely knowledgeable in canine behaviour and you can see how much she cares about the dogs which is the most important thing!

Levi and Nelly

“Our dog is noticeably calmer and we feel much more confident”

Roxanne has been amazing to work with. Our dog is very sound-sensitive and reactive. Roxanne was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the process. She took the time to understand our dog’s triggers and gave us clear, practical techniques that actually worked.

Thanks to her guidance, our dog is noticeably calmer and we feel much more confident handling challenging situations. Roxanne truly cares about the dogs and the people she helps, and it shows in the results. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with a sensitive or reactive dog.
